Gabriela is a Mexican cinematographer, photographer, artist, and inventor. As a cinematographer she focused on advertisement and documentary, she has lived and worked internationally, including Israel, Canada, USA and Mongolia to name a few.
Her natural curiosity led her to make a scientific discovery with her “Dead Soon” Project, a project that captures images reminiscent of interstellar nebulae when photographing the ashes of the deceased.
Fuchs’s work is a constant proposition to rethink morality and knowledge, old and new and consider stillness as a disruptive foundation for cooperation and understanding of interdependence in this shifting geospatial and techno-political cluster.
